And since it can release the water quickly it means that it can dry quickly.

The cause of this disease is not fully understood and the symptoms usually develop gradually. At the onset of the disease, there may be soreness or stiffness that seems more like a nuisance. The patient may experience soreness or stiffness particularly on the hips, knees, and lower back, after being inactive for quite a while or after a strenuous activity. The stiffness experiences after resting will go away after movement. One may also experience pain that will get worse after an activity or toward the end of the day.

 

Another form is Rheumatoid Arthritis. This is an inflammatory form of arthritis where synovial membrane, which nourishes the joint and cartilage, is attacked, resulting to selling and pain. It is an autoimmune disease in which body’s immune system mistakenly attacks the joints. The abnormal immune response causes inflammation that can damage joints and organs such as the heart. Pauciarticular JRA is the most common and mildest. Polyarticular JRA, on the other hand, is type of JRA which affects more joints and is more severe. Lastly, Systemic JRA which is the least common among the three is the type wherein pain is experienced in many joints and can spread to organs.

 

There is no cure for arthritis yet, but there are medications that could help relieve pain. Doctors may also recommend physical therapy to help improve strength and function. Therapy, however, varies for different forms of arthritis. In cases where pain is severe and the daily functioning of the individual is highly affected, surgery is already recommended. Research has also shown that some food and supplements can help, depending on the arthritis that you have. Some of the identified arthritis supplements are omega-3 fatty acids and glucosamine. Hand Squeeze Exercise.

Find a crumpled piece of paper or cloth and put it into your palm. Then try to squeeze it as hard as possible. After a couple of seconds, relax your fingers and repeat again. Do it for ten times.

 

Circling Thumb

Position your hand with a “thumbs-up” sign. Then, gently rotate your thumb in a circular motion. After three to five seconds, switch the direction of your thumb rotation. Repeat the exercise five times.

 

Slapping Palm Exercise.

Try to slap each of your fingers – the pinkie, ring finger and middle finger – against your palm for five repetitions.
